This screen enables you to configure settings for script generation from an existing capture file.

User interface elements are described below:
The name of a capture file containing the client/server traffic.
VuGen supports capture files with the following extensions: .cap, .pcap, .lrcap, .saz, and .har.
In addition, only files where the link-layer header type is either
The link-layer header type can be determined by opening the capture file within WireShark and selecting Statistics > Summary > Encapsulation from the main menu.
|Browse. Allows you to select a capture file to import.|
|Server side filter||
The IP address and port of the server whose traffic you want to examine. You can specify multiple servers.
|Client side filter||
The IP address of the client whose traffic you want to examine.
Record into action
The section into which you want to record: vuser_init, Action, or vuser_end. For actions you want to repeat, use the Action section. For initialization steps, use vuser_init. Click New to define a new repeatable action.
|Use the new parsing engine||
Instructs VuGen to use the new parsing engine that supports TLS 1.1 and 1.2, when generating the script. This feature is a technical preview.
Note: To use the new engine, WireShark version 1.12.0 or higher must be installed.
|Options||Opens the Recording Options dialog box to the most recently accessed node. For details, see Recording Options.|
Opens the SSL Configuration Dialog Box which allows you to add SSL certificates to analyze traffic from a secure server (Disabled for *.har files—instead, configure the SSL through Fiddler).
