Note: If an error code within the above range does not appear in this list, it is considered an Internal Error, for which no specific user troubleshooting guidelines are available.

Message Code 85001

Failed to launch the Resource monitor. Hint: Check the log file on the monitor machine.

Troubleshooting

  • Check the log file on the monitor machine for error details.
  • Check that you have correctly configured the Controller to monitor over the firewall: In the Controller, select Scenario > Load Generators and select the load generator chosen as the MI Listener machine. Click Details and select the Firewall tab. Verify that Enable Firewall is selected, and the MI Listener machine's name appears in the MI Listener field.
  • Check that the monitor over firewall machine is running: In the Controller, select Scenario > Load Generators, and check the connection status of the over the firewall machine. If the status is `Down', click Connect, and to try to reconnect to it.

Message Code 85200

WAN Emulation could not be started on the load generator.

Troubleshooting

  • Consult the relevant 3rd party software documentation.

Message Code 85201

WAN Emulation could not be started on the load generator.

Troubleshooting

  • Consult the relevant 3rd party software documentation.

Message Code 85202

WAN Emulation could not be stopped on the load generator.

Troubleshooting

  • Consult the relevant 3rd party software documentation.

Message Code 85204

Could not resolve WAN Emulation settings for Load Generator <LG name>.

The WAN Emulation definitions are not correct, or there is a problem with the WAN Emulation software.

Troubleshooting

  • Check that the load generator's WAN Emulation settings are correct.
  • The total number of excluded IP addresses is limited. This number is the sum of IP addresses excluded in the WAN Emulation software definitions, and the list in the Controller Tools > Options > WAN Emulation. For more information about excluding IP addresses, see the section about excluding machines from WAN Emulation in the HP LoadRunner Controller User Guide.
  • If either of the above two solutions do not solve the problem, consult the relevant 3rd party software documentation.

Message Code 85205

Failed to set WAN Emulation settings for Load Generator <LG name>.

Could not apply the WAN Emulation settings to the load generator after defining them in the Controller.

Troubleshooting

  • Try to run the scenario on the load generator without WAN Emulation to determine of the machine has connection problems.
  • If the above solution does not solve the problem, consult the relevant 3rd party software documentation.

Message Code 85206

Error occurred in 3rd party WAN Emulation component on machine <machine name>. Error message: <error message>

There is a problem with the WAN Emulation component.

Troubleshooting

  • Consult the relevant 3rd party software documentation.

Message Code 85207

Error occurred while trying to evaluate WAN Emulation monitors.

The auto assigned monitors did not start automatically.

Troubleshooting

  • Try to manually add the WAN Emulation monitors to the load generator.
  • Use a tool like Perfmon to check if monitors exist on the load generator machine. If they exist, but you cannot see them in the Controller, try to add a Windows Resource metric, like CPU, to the load generator.
  • If the above solution does not solve the problem, consult the relevant 3rd party software documentation.

Message Code 85208
